I have been working on a fake diary entry. We had to write diary entry about our feelings if our dad or brother or husband died in the mine disaster. Here is my finished product!

I think it is really sad how so many children were left fatherless. Are you looking forward to going out to the Mine Site? I sure am as I love going outside of the classroom to learn new things. I was touched by that diary entry. I could picture the mother and daughter at the funeral together. You have a beautiful style to your writing of feelings.
I remember when we were at Grey High and they put on a play about the Brunner Mine. Aunty Mel had a part where she had to cry all the time. It was an emotional play.
