T2 W4 reflection

Literacy

Word work

For literacy, I wrote 9 sentences with 10 words. I wrote it on a slide were all my word work is going to be. Here are my sentences.

Writing

The higher level punctuation group had to play trapped, making a Screencastify well we were playing. I liked the game because I could have fun well learning. My Screencastify stopped before I could finish, but here is what I could do.

In the game, the first thing we had to do is click on the apple we think is the right punctuation, then use our mouse  to control the apple. There are 4 activities that include punctuation.

Numeracy

I am learning how to add and subtract decimals. We had to make a Screencastify to show our learning. It was hard making the Screencastify because we kept making mistakes. But in the end, I think we did great.

Me and Kyra made a slide showing our work on more decimal problems. Here it is. It was fun making up the questions and figuring them out. I will do that more with Kyra.

Reading

We have read up to chapter 13 in Charlotte's Web, and I can't wait to keep reading.

WALT: Use high level punctuation correctly eg. explanation marks, question marks, speech marks, etc, etc.

For reading, I had to Summarize an important scene in Charlotte's web. Click here to view my Reading follow up.  It was fun writing about the scene when Lurvey discovered Charlotte's web, which had the words "Some Pig" on it. Then, she weaved "Terrific" on the web.
