Darkling wood

"There can't be fairies in the woods. Could there...?"After Alice's brother gets a new heart, mum has to stay with Theo (her brother) in the hospital. Alice stays with her stranger grandmother, and she barely knows her. She sees a girl in the forest, and little does she know, Flo, the girl in the woods, is her grans great great grandmother. Her grandmother wants to cut the wood down, but as Flo says, the fairies are using their magic to stop her. "They need you to believe, Alice. Just believe.'"
I enjoyed this book and hope to read The Girl Who Walks On Air soon. I got the book from the library.
