Numeracy Reflection: Fraction W9 T3

This week for numeracy, we had to do two slides of fractions. Some were hard, but some were really easy. Here are a few that I did! I think I did pretty good but next time I will try to do more.

Writing
This week for writing we wrote a persuasive letter trying to persuade someone to play a game. My buddy was Megan, and my game was Legend Of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The reason that I chose that game is because she says it's stupid but she hasn't played it before, so I decided to try to make her like the game, or at least try playing it. Here is my draft letter!

Speeches
On Tuesday I did my speech. My speech was about Studio Ghibli, which is an anime based film company. I think I did good and it wasn't actually as scary as I thought it was!!

Speeches
This week, we have been preparing are speeches to present to the class next term. I started as doing a speech on the school production I am in but in the end I decided to do it on Studio Ghibli, which is a Japanese film company I chose this topic because I like watching to movies and I also love anime, and the movies are all anime based. 

Because we are doing speeches, instead of word work we chose 8 words that we could use in our speech then found the definition and made a sentence for 4 of the words. Here are my words!

Reading
This week my reading group (group 2) read a short story out of a journal called Mrs Wildings' Potatoes. After that, we wrote one main point each on a slide. We also read Katie's mum before that and Reagan wrote a summary using our points we gave her.
