Writing/Literacy - Explorer and Mummies
Explorer
For Explorer, we had to choose an explorer and write about them. We could only use two websites first, and some people only read one, so they didn't get it right. One was wrong, and one was right. We did a small Cybersmart refection in the slide.

Mummies
This week, we have been doing a lot of Mummies work. Here are a few of our writing. I had to do it with a buddy, so I did it with Anna. It was hard to write it because we didn't copy nd it was hard to find our own words.

Numeracy - Area and Perimeter
For Numeracy this term, we did area and perimeter. We had a group we had to work with, and we did activities about area and perimeter. It was a bit hard because some people in my group were mucking around.
 

Week 8 reflection

Literacy

This is what the geckos have been learning for literacy.

I learnt about water and what the water cycle is. We are remembering to comprehend what we read.

In maths I have been learning how to use multiplication strategy to solve problems.

This is how I worked it out. The question is 9 x 22. I know that 9 x 20 is 180, 9 x 2 is 18 so 180+18=198.

Cyber Smart

We have been learning about a blogger life cycle and on Monday, we made our own blogger life cycle.

We had to buddy up and make a blogger life cycle based around the monarch butterfly life cycle.

Writing

For writing, we had to answer questions and finish writing the story in a slide.
